Our client in Manufacturing is on the market for a Talent Officer to join their Recruitment Team. This is a 6-month contract with the potential of being extended to a full-time permanent role.
Reporting to the Talent Manager, the incumbent will be responsible for the following (but not limited to):
Provide timely day-to-day HR advice and support to the Talent Manager in relation to the
company's recruitment and selection process and on-boarding / induction.
Drive the recruitment and selection process for the line managers across the organization including
position description development, drafting vacancy advertisements, and posting
advertisements on the internet and various job boards as required.
Provide assistance with shortlisting of candidates and preparing for and arranging interviews
as required, conducting references and completing the company's credentialing process.
Prepare letters of offer, employment contracts and new employee packs for successful
candidates.
Liaising with unsuccessful candidates to provide feedback where required.
Collate all recruitment paperwork, create new employee personnel files (electronic and hard
copy) and input new employee details into the company's database.
Liaise with the company's Payroll, IT and Corporate Services teams to make on-boarding
arrangements.
Ensure the employee onboarding experience of new employees is adhered to and
employees are inducted and oriented appropriately.
Model and demonstrate constructive working relationships and information exchange across
the organisation.
Support the broader HR team and the HR Advisor (hIS) as required, including coverage for
leave and workload support.
