Our client is seeking a Strategic Investment Advisor to drive high-value investment opportunities across diverse sectors. This role blends investment analysis, corporate development, M&A, and special situations investing, with a strong focus on strategic alignment, value creation, and risk management. The Advisor will work closely with senior leadership, investors, and external stakeholders to guide capital allocation decisions, unlock growth opportunities, and navigate complex transactions, including distressed and turnaround scenarios.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide strategic guidance on capital deployment, portfolio construction, and investment prioritisation.
- Source, evaluate, and structure investment opportunities across target sectors.
- Lead transaction processes including acquisitions, joint ventures, and strategic partnerships.
- Conduct due diligence (financial, legal, operational, ESG) and negotiate deal terms.
- Support corporate development initiatives such as mergers, acquisitions, and alliances.
- Identify and advise on distressed or undervalued assets with turnaround potential.
- Build and review advanced financial models (DCF, LBO, scenario analysis).
- Engage with investors, regulators, and strategic partners, preparing board-level presentations and advisory briefs.
- Monitor market trends, regulatory developments, and emerging investment themes.

Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or related field (Master’s/MBA preferred).
- 7–15 years’ experience in investment banking, private equity, corporate development, or financial advisory.
- Proven track record in executing transactions and managing investment portfolios.
- Experience in emerging markets, particularly Africa/SADC, is highly desirable.
