Our Client, a Renowned Financial Institution Is Looking To Engage An Experienced Chief Executive Officer With a Minimum Of 10+ Years’ Experience Incorporating At Least 5 Years Of High-Level Investment Experience Gained Working In An International Financial Services Firm. Experience In Equity Investments, Money Markets, Commodity Trading, National Infrastructure Projects And Real Estate Developments Is a Necessity.

Duties &Responsibilities

Contribute To The Development And Implementation Of The Company’s Strategic Direction
Develop The Annual Investment Goals/Targets (To Be Owned By The CIO) That Complement The Strategic Direction Of The Company
Provide An Interface With Investment Committee And Recommend New And Changes To Existing Investment Policies And Submit It For Approval.
Develop And Manage a Range Of Financial Approaches That Leverages Capital And That Leads To a Transformative Increase In Investment
Responsible For Developing And Maintaining Efficient Relationship With Investment Departments And Ensure Compliance To All Policies And Laws
Conduct Outreach Efforts To Local, Regional, And National Financial Institutions And Institutional Investors, And Developers To Identify Partnerships, Co-Financing Vehicles And Other Investment Strategies That Can Catalyze Private Investment Into Projects From a Variety Of Private Sources
Manage Relationships With s Financial Institution Partners And Other Investor Communities
Lead Financial Product Development And Transaction Execution (With An Emphasis On Adopting Market-Proven Successful Models, Approaches And Methodologies);
Lead Due Diligence Activities By Providing Financial Modeling Expertise And Economic Analysis With Respect To Potential Partners’ Strategies And Plans.
Responsible For Reviewing Recommendations And Solutions Proposed By Investment Team With Attention To a Client’s Investment Wishes, Capabilities And Limitations Forming Concise Reports
Work With The Business Development Resources And Consultants To Develop And Implement Strategies To Increase Participation In Targeted Programs
Formulate And Oversee Implementation Of Strategic And Tactical Investment Strategies
Ensures Continued Knowledge Transfer, Deployment And Succession Planning

Qualifications

Qualified CA, CIMA or CFA
Master’s Degree in Finance or Investment an added advantage
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
5 years’ experience in a similar role
+10 years’ experience with direct investments in the financial services sector
