Operations and Business Development Co-coordinator

Role Purpose
The Operations and Development Coordinator is responsible for driving business growth, managing key operational workflows, and maintaining strong supply chain performance. This role combines business development, procurement management, logistics oversight, and team leadership to streamline office functions, safeguard margins, and expand commercial presence within a fast-paced environment.

Duties and Responsibilities
Business Development & Client Acquisition
Execute growth initiatives to identify, pursue, and secure new commercial client opportunities.
Build and maintain long-term buyer and client relationships to support revenue retention.
Prepare, present, and negotiate formal customer quotations and business proposals.
Operational Governance & Financial Controls
Manage daily administration, operational reporting, and end-to-end office workflows.
Oversee billing and invoicing processes to ensure documentation accuracy and numerical compliance.
Assist in monitoring cash flows, verifying administrative records, and resolving operational bottlenecks.
Procurement & Supply Chain Optimization
Coordinate procurement activities, monitor inventory stock levels, and prevent product loss or discrepancies.
Maintain strong, collaborative relationships with key vendors and suppliers to negotiate optimal terms.
Inspect and confirm warehouse returns, inventory movements, and stock reconciliations.
Logistics & Fleet Route Management
Plan and manage delivery dispatch, route optimization, and logistics workflows for seamless customer service.
Track transportation schedules to ensure on-time delivery and minimize supply chain disruptions.
Supervise, guide, and support operational, logistics, and field staff to achieve set targets.
Direct day-to-day team efforts to maintain high service levels, operational efficiency, and target compliance.

Qualifications & Experience
Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Logistics, Marketing, or a related commercial field.
Proven experience within the FMCG, food distribution, or wholesale industry.
Possession of a clean and valid Class 4 Driver’s Licence.
