Our Client In The Retail And Distribution Sector Is Looking To Hire A Weighbridge Operator. The Weighbridge Operator Is Responsible For Accurately Weighing All Inbound And Outbound Vehicles, Maintaining Complete Weighbridge Records, And Ensuring Compliance With Company Procedures, Statutory Regulations, And Health And Safety Standards. The Role Plays A Critical Part In Maintaining Inventory Accuracy, Supporting Logistics Operations, And Ensuring The Integrity Of All Weighing Transactions.

Duties And Responsibilities
•Operate The Computerized Weighbridge System To Accurately Record The Weight Of All Inbound And Outbound Vehicles.
•Verify Delivery Notes, Purchase Orders, Dispatch Notes, And Other Supporting Documentation Before Processing Transactions.
•Generate And Issue Accurate Weighbridge Tickets For All Vehicle Movements.
•Maintain Accurate Weighbridge Records And Filing Systems.
•Prepare Daily, Weekly, And Monthly Weighbridge Reports As Required.
•Monitor Transactions And Report Any Weight Discrepancies, Irregularities, Or Unauthorized Activities.
•Ensure All Vehicles Comply With Established Weighing Procedures Before Entering Or Leaving The Premises.
•Communicate Effectively With Drivers, Suppliers, Transporters, And Internal Departments Regarding Weighing Procedures.
•Maintain Cleanliness And Housekeeping Standards Around The Weighbridge Area.
•Report Weighbridge Equipment Faults, Malfunctions, Or Maintenance Requirements Promptly.
•Adhere To Company Policies, Health And Safety Regulations, And Environmental Standards At All Times.
•Support Stock Control And Logistics Teams By Providing Accurate Weighing Data.
•Perform Any Other Duties Reasonably Assigned By Management.

Education And Qualifications
•Certificate, Diploma, Or Equivalent Qualification In Logistics, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Or A Related Field.
•Minimum Of 1–2 Years' Experience Operating A Weighbridge Or Working In A Logistics, Warehouse, Transport, Or Manufacturing Environment.
•Proficiency In Microsoft Office Applications And Computerized Weighing Systems.
•Good Numerical And Record-Keeping Skills.
•Knowledge Of Inventory Control Procedures And Transport Documentation Will Be An Added Advantage.
