Our Client Is Seeking A Highly Skilled Process Engineer With Gold Processing Experience To Join Their Operations Team. The Successful Candidate Will Be Responsible For Optimizing Metallurgical Processes, Ensuring Efficiency, Safety, And Compliance In Gold Extraction And Refining. This Role Requires Strong Technical Expertise, Problem-Solving Ability, And Hands-On Experience In Gold Plant Operations.
Duties And Responsibilities
Analyze And Improve Gold Extraction And Refining Processes To Maximize Recovery And Reduce Costs.
Oversee Daily Plant Operations, Ensuring Adherence To Production Targets And Quality Standards.
Conduct Laboratory And Pilot-Scale Tests To Evaluate Process Improvements.
Ensure All Processes Meet Environmental, Health, And Safety Regulations.
Prepare Detailed Reports On Process Performance, Recovery Rates, And Efficiency Metrics.
Provide Technical Guidance And Training To Plant Operators And Junior Engineers.
Implement Lean Manufacturing And Six Sigma Methodologies To Enhance Productivity.
Qualifications And Experience
Bachelor’s Degree In Metallurgical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Or Related Field.
Minimum 5 Years’ Experience In Gold Processing Plants (CIL, CIP, Heap Leaching, Or Smelting).
Strong Knowledge Of Mineral Processing, Hydrometallurgy, And Pyrometallurgy.
Familiarity With Process Simulation Tools (E.G., METSIM, Autocad, Or Similar).
Professional Engineering Registration Is An Added Advantage.
Excellent Analytical, Communication, And Leadership Skills.
