The Ideal Candidate Will Be Responsible For Sourcing, Negotiating, And Managing Supply Channels To Ensure Cost-Effective, Timely, And Quality Delivery Of Electrical Products And Components. This Role Requires Strong Analytical Skills, Market Knowledge, And Expertise In Procurement Strategies Within The Electrical Industry.

Duties And Responsibilities
Lead And Manage Sourcing Activities To Secure Reliable Suppliers And Competitive Pricing.
Negotiate Contracts, Terms, And Pricing With Vendors To Optimize Cost Savings And Value.
Develop And Implement Procurement Strategies Aligned With Organizational Objectives.
Ensure Adherence To Company Policies, Statutory Requirements, And Industry Regulations.
Monitor Stock Levels, Forecast Demand, And Coordinate Replenishment To Avoid Shortages Or Overstocking.
Track Market Trends, Competitor Pricing, And Emerging Technologies In The Electrical Sector.
Build And Maintain Strong Partnerships With Suppliers And Distributors.
Collaborate With Engineering, Finance, And Operations Teams To Align Procurement With Project Needs.
Prepare And Present Procurement Reports, KPIS, And Cost Analyses To Senior Management.
Drive Initiatives To Enhance Procurement Efficiency, Reduce Costs, And Adopt Innovative Sourcing Methods.

Qualifications And Experience
Bachelor’s Degree In Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Electrical Engineering, Or Related Field. Postgraduate Qualification Is An Added Advantage.
Minimum Of 8–10 Years’ Experience In Procurement Or Supply Chain, With At Least 5 Years In A Senior Buyer Role Within The
Electrical Industry.
Professional Certification In Procurement (E.G., CIPS) Is Highly Desirable.
Strong Understanding Of Electrical Products, Components, And Supply Markets.
Excellent Negotiation, Analytical, And Communication Skills.
Proficiency In Procurement Software, ERP Systems, And Microsoft Office Suite.
Familiarity With Zimbabwe’s Procurement Regulations, Labor Laws, And Industry Standards.
