Our client in the FMCG industry is looking to engage a Merchandising Supervisor to join their team. Incumbent will be responsible for maintaining and growing market share through effective management of merchandising teams, execution of merchandising standards, store coverage, product visibility and retailer engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, coach and manage merchandisers to achieve performance targets.
- Coordinate merchandising teams and ensure adequate store coverage.
- Develop merchandising rosters and store visit schedules.
- Conduct store audits on product availability, shelf space and merchandising standards.
- Negotiate shelf space and product positioning with store management.
- Monitor stock rotation, pricing compliance and stock availability.
- Track competitor activities and provide market intelligence.
- Maintain attendance records for payroll processing.
- Conduct team meetings and provide ongoing coaching.
- Prepare merchandising, stock-out and competitor reports.
- Drive continuous improvement and compliance with merchandising standards.
Minimum Requirements:
- A-Level qualification.
- Diploma in Sales and Marketing or equivalent is an added advantage.
- Minimum 3 years merchandising experience.
- Previous supervisory or team leadership experience.
- Valid driver’s or motorcycle licence.
