Our client is seeking Procurement Officers to join a landmark national-scale infrastructure development project of colossal scope and geographical spread. The project involves highly complex procurement processes across multiple regions, requiring strict compliance, transparency, and efficiency. The ideal candidates will bring proven experience in large-scale infrastructure projects, ensuring effective sourcing, contract management, and supply chain coordination to support the successful delivery of this transformative initiative. Incumbent will manage procurement processes and contracts to ensure value for money and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement procurement strategies and plans aligned with project objectives.
- Manage tendering processes, bid evaluations, and supplier selection.
- Oversee contract negotiation, administration, and supplier performance monitoring.
- Ensure compliance with national procurement regulations, donor requirements, and organizational policies.
- Identify and mitigate procurement and supply chain risks.
- Maintain accurate procurement records and reporting systems for audit and accountability.
- Collaborate with finance, engineering, and project management teams to align procurement with operational needs.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Degree in Supply Chain, Procurement, or related field.
- Professional certification (e.g. CIPS) preferred.
- 8–12 years’ experience in procurement for large construction projects.
