Duties And Responsibilities
Daily Update And Posting Into Sap Of Cash And Bank Accounts Including Petty Cash Transactions.
Monthly Reconciliation Of All Cash And Bank Accounts Including Petty Cash Accounts, Investigation And Clearing Of Reconciling Items And Ensuring That There Are No Recurring Reconciling Items.
Maintenance Of Up-To-Date Petty Cash Accounts And Ensure That All Petty Cash Transactions (Including Debit Cards) Have Supporting Documentation Before Posting Into Sap.
Review Bank Accounts For Unusual Transactions And Report Within 24Hrs Of Identifying The Unusual Transactions.
Process Intercompany Transfers, Interest Payments, Or Any Other Treasury Related Payment As And When Assigned.
Perform Cd1 Reconciliations And Acquittals.
Perform Intercompany Bank Payments As And When Instructed.
Update PPE And Intangible Assets Register With Additions And Disposals.
Quarterly Physical Verification Of PPE And Reconciliation To Accounting Records Including Reporting Any Damages To PPE Noted.
Perform The Monthly PPE And Intangible Assets Reconciliation And Ensuring That The Asset Register Agrees To The General Ledger.
Perform Weekly Intercompany Confirmations And Reconciliations With Fellow Group Companies Through a Weekly Call.
Perform Monthly Intercompany Reconciliations.
Monitor Intercompany Balances And Report Long Outstanding Balances To The Accountant.
Update Prepayment Transactions For Both USD & ZWL To Ensure Accuracy Of Accounting Records.
Produce a Monthly Prepayment Reconciliation.
Maintaining An Up-To-Date Investment Property Register Including Reconciliation To Accounting Records On a Monthly Basis.
Maintain An Up-To-Date Stationery Inventory Listing Including Reconciliation To Accounting Records On a Monthly Basis.
Monthly Update Of The Right Of Use And Finance Lease Liability Balances.
Attend To External And Internal Audit Request And Queries.
Experience And Qualifications
Accounting Degree Or Its Equivalent
Knowledge And Good Application Of Accounting Standards, Procedures, And Principles.
Must Have Sound Knowledge Of Finance And Accounting.
Must Have Experience With Accounting Packages Such As Sap.
