Roles & Responsibilities Include;
Coordinates Formulation Of The Organisation’s Strategy.
Plans And Aligns Divisional Activities To Meet The Organisation’s Objectives Efficiently And Effectively.
Periodically Monitors And Reviews The Macro-Economic Environment For Changes That Have a Material Effect On The Achievement Of The Organisation’s Strategy.
Oversees Financial Planning For The Organisation.
Co-Ordinates The Development Of Budget Assumptions And Execution Of The Budget Process.
Analyses And Reports On The Organisation’s Financial Performance.
Lobbies For The Review Of Statutes And Regulations Governing The Organisation.
Establishes And Monitors Procedures To Ensure That The Organisation Complies With All Relevant Legal, Constitutional, And Regulatory Requirements.
Oversees The Organisation’s Code Of Governance And Ethics, Register Of Interests Of The Directors, The Gifts And Hospitality Register For All Employees.
Coordinates The Organisation’s Annual General Meetings.
Makes Available, Where Appropriate, For Public Inspection a Copy Of The Latest Annual Accounts And Auditor’s Report And a Copy Of The Latest Annual Report.
Proposes Changes To Existing Corporate Governance Arrangements Within The Organisation, To Ensure Compliance With Codes Of Practice And New Regulations.
Participates In The Mobilisation Of Resources From Development Corporation Partners And Other Financial Institutions.
Manages Treasury And Investments For The Organisation.
Recommends Investment Decisions In Adherence With The Investment Policy.
Oversees All Financial Reporting Activities To Ensure That Procedures Applied, And Reports Produced Comply With Applicable Financial Reporting Standards And Any Other Relevant Frameworks.
Oversees The Periodic Financial Audits Of The Organisation.
Ensures Effective And Efficient ICT Systems Used In Financial Accounting Are Up-To Date And Meet The Organisation’s Requirements.
Undertakes The Organisation’s Financial Risk Analysis.
Reports On Risks And Opportunities To The CEO And Other Relevant Interested Parties.
Monitors The Liquidity Levels In Order To Support The Long-Term Strategy Of The Organisation.
Provides Guidance To Finance Staff And Monitors Their Performance To Ensure Maximum Productivity.

Requirements For This Job:
Degree In Accounting/Finance Or Equivalent Professional Qualification
Master’s Degree Added Advantage.
Member Of a Professional Accounting Body
At Least 5 Years’ Experience In a Similar Position.
Solid Working Knowledge Of Iso 9001:2015.
A Demonstrated Analytical And Practical Approach To Problem Solving.
Excellent Command Of The English Language.
High Computer And ICT Literacy. High Competence In Excel Spreadsheets, An Added Advantage.
