An Exciting Opportunity Has Been Availed And Our Client Is Looking To Engage A Legal Officer To Join A Well-Established Company In The Financial Sector. Duties Will Include This Includes Compliance With Relevant Legislation And Regulation And Providing Advice On A Variety Of Legal Matters, In Particular Commercial Contracts And Procurement.
Duties And Responsibilities Include But Not Limited To:
* Ensure Full Compliance With Relevant Legislation And Regulation Pertaining To The Corporate Governance Of The Group;
* Supporting The Effective Operation Of The Group’s Board And Committees;
* Provide General Legal Advice, Particularly In The Area Of Contracts, Corporate Governance And Data Protection;
* Manage And Coordinate The Groups’ Contract Management Process Including Preparation Of Contracts, Advising And Negotiating On Strategic Commercial Contracts, And Maintaining An Up-To-Date Contracts Register;
* Manage Compliance With Relevant Legislation And Regulation Pertaining To The Corporate Governance Of The Group, And Report To The Board And Group Chief Executive As Required
The Job Holder Should Have:
• Relevant Legal Qualificationy;
• 5+ Years’ Experience Working Within A Corporate Legal Background Is Preferred;
• Strong Organisational, Planning And Project Management Skills;
• Excellent Legal Drafting, Minute-Taking And Report Writing Skills, With Strong Attention To Detail;
• Good Communication And Presentation Skills;
• Demonstrable Credibility Working With Senior Stakeholders;
