Ideal candidate will be responsible for establishing, developing, recommending, implementing and maintaining appropriate corporate affairs strategies, policies and programs for the Group stakeholders. Creates, maintains positive image, brand and communicates a favorable public image of the group.
Role and Responsibilities
Leads and supports the corporate affairs strategy and planning process to ensure it aligns with the Group business strategy and challenges
Directs manages and coordinates research into stakeholders perceptions and group image.
Provides support to the GCEO and Executive in driving the reputational policy and process
Ensures that group reputational risks are identified, addressed and/or escalated appropriately
Develop, implement strategies to build and protect the reputation of the Group, both internally and externally
Creates efficient and effective communication strategies across the group, customers, and global markets.
Leads the establishment and implementation of media relations strategies, ensuring effective issues management and processes for handling media are in place.
Builds and maintains stakeholder relationships with the group to maximize corporate responsibility, community activities, and protect the brand
Collaborates with all departments Executive management to support internal communications strategies that directly supports business operations and goals.
Ensures that innovation and transformation efforts are clearly articulated in all communications to stakeholders ( internal & external)
Designs tools and methodologies to track brand performances, business issues across the group and in the market ensuring that critical contact lists are well and timely advised.
Qualifications and experience required
Minimum-Bachelor’s degree in Communication, Marketing, Journalism, Business Management or equivalent.
Master in Business Administration or Master in Business Leadership
Public relations and corporate communication experience or related
8+ years of relevant experience
3+ years at managerial levels
