Our Client A Leading Financial Services Business Is Looking To Engage An Experienced Structured Finance Manager With Minimum Experience Of 10 Years, Incorporating 3 Years In A Financial Institution (Specialising In International Commodity Transactions And Trade Finance Instruments). Added Experience Managing A Structured Finance Unit As A Profit Centre Is Highly Beneficial. The Incumbent Will Be Required To Lead The Negotiation Of Complex Structured Finance Or Debt Arrangements.
The Purpose Of The Job Will Be To Identify, Formulate And Negotiate Margin-Enhancing Financing Opportunities Using Agile, Robust, Iterative Structured Finance Frameworks. Lead Financing And Risk Management Decisions Working With Internal General And Specialist Teams (Responsible For Market Research, Risk And Compliance, Sales And Marketing, Information Technology And Capital Raising) And External Stakeholders (Such As Risk-Investors, Customers, Suppliers, Freight Handling, Forwarding And Clearing Specialists) Within The Ecosystem. Provide Strategic Planning, Implementation And Review Of Existing And New Commercial Products. Responsible For Profitability And Cashflow Management Of Commercial Products In The Portfolio As Amended From Time To Time
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Identify Areas Which The Research Teams Should Investigate To Ensure Continuous Business Development, Risk Analysis And Mitigation Along The Entire Supply Chain (Procurement, Logistics, Clearing, Storage, Processing, And Distribution)
• Drive The Delivery Of The Strategic Projects, Including Preparing Finance Project Plans, Delivery Methodology, Critical Path Analysis, Financial Comparatives, Financial Ratios Analysis, Best Practice, And Coverage Of Trade Finance Services To Support The Expanding Global Reach Of The SF Products That Are Incorporated In This Portfolio.
• Provide Strategic Direction By Understanding The Stakeholders’ Strategic Objectives And Identify Priorities To Align The Supporting Structure, Systems, Processes And Rewards
• Formulate Corporate Strategy For Corporate Clients By Providing Insights To Help Create A Competitive Positioning In The
• Develop Innovative Financing Structures And Business Cases To Resolve A Problem Or Opportunity Presented In The Ecosystem As Changes Occur

Qualifications
• Master’s Degree In Finance, Economics Or Investment Banking
• +10 Years’ Experience In Trade Finance And Project Finance
