Finance Manager - Hospitality

Our Client in the Hospitality Sector is on the Market for a Finance Manager with previous Hospitality, Tourism or FMCG Sector Experience. The Successful Candidate Will Be Responsible For Overseeing the Financial Management of the Business, Producing Financial Reports, and Providing Financial Guidance and Supporting Management and Colleagues in Making Short and Long Term Business Decisions.Working knowledge of OPERA and ACCPAC systems is a MUST.

Applicants Should Hold an Accounting or Finance Degree plus ACCA, CIS or ICAZ. An MBA or MBL is an added Advantage. This role reports to the General Manager..

Responsibilities include:-
-Monitor the day-to-day financial operations of the business.
-Track the business's financial status and performance to identify areas for potential improvement
-Seek out methods for minimising financial risk to the business
-Review financial data and prepare monthly and annual reports to specific deadlines
-Establish and maintain financial policies and procedures for the business unit
-Understand and adhere to financial regulations and legislation
-Conducting reviews and evaluations for cost-reduction opportunities
-Implementation and monitoring of effective financial and internal controls within the business unit
-Keeping abreast of changes in financial regulations and legislation.
-Liaising with statutory bodies and managing statutory accounts effectively
