Our Client Is Seeking An Experienced Warehouse Manager To Oversee Operations At Their Tobacco Auction Floor. The Successful Candidate Will Be Responsible For Managing Warehouse Activities, Ensuring Efficient Handling Of Tobacco Bales, Maintaining Accurate Records, And Coordinating Logistics To Support Smooth Auction Processes.
Duties And Responsibilities
Supervise Daily Warehouse Activities Including Receiving, Storage, And Dispatch Of Tobacco Bales.
Maintain Accurate Stock Records And Ensure Proper Bale Tracking.
Coordinate Bale Movement And Preparation For Auction Sales.
Lead Warehouse Staff, Assign Tasks, And Monitor Performance.
Enforce Occupational Health And Safety Standards Within The Warehouse.
Liaise With Transporters And Buyers To Ensure Timely Delivery And Dispatch.
Prepare Daily, Weekly, And Monthly Reports On Warehouse Activities And Auction Support.
Implement Best Practices To Enhance Efficiency And Reduce Operational Costs.
Qualifications And Experience
Bachelor’s Degree In Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Or Related Field.
Minimum 5 Years’ Experience In Warehouse Management, Preferably In Agricultural Commodities Or Tobacco Industry.
Strong Knowledge Of Inventory Systems, Warehouse Operations, And Logistics Coordination.
Familiarity With Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) And Microsoft Office Tools.
Supply Chain Or Logistics Certification Is An Added Advantage.
Excellent Leadership, Organizational, And Communication Skills.
