Our client is seeking an Audit and Risk and M&E Officer with demonstrable experience in managing audit and risk functions for large-scale, national infrastructure projects. Incumbent must ensure strong internal controls, risk management, and accountability whilst tracking programme performance, outcomes, and impact. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in safeguarding financial integrity, ensuring operational efficiency, and strengthening risk resilience across a project of colossal scope and geographical spread. This role requires someone who has not only participated in audits and risk assessments but has also independently led initiatives that enhanced compliance, transparency, and governance in complex, multi-site environments. The successful candidate will be expected to design and implement robust audit frameworks, identify and mitigate risks across financial, operational, and regulatory domains, and provide senior management with clear, evidence-based insights to support strategic decision-making. Experience in liaising with government agencies, external auditors, and international funding partners will be critical, as will the ability to instill a culture of accountability and ethical practice across diverse teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement risk management frameworks

Qualifications & Experience:
- Degree in Accounting, Risk, or related field.
- Professional certification (e.g. CIA, CISA, ACCA) preferred.
- 7–10 years’ experience in audit or risk management.
