Our Client In The Mining Sector Is Seeking a Strategic And Experienced Human Resources Manager To Lead The Hr Function At Their Gold Mining Site. The Ideal Candidate Will Be Responsible For Managing All Aspects Of Human Capital, Including Recruitment, Compliance, Labor Relations, And Workforce Development. This Role Requires a Strong Understanding Of Zimbabwean Labor Laws, Mining Sector Regulations, And The Ability To Manage a Diverse And Often Remote Workforce.

Duties And Responsibilities
Develop And Implement Hr Strategies Aligned With Mining Operations And Organizational Goals.
Oversee Recruitment, Onboarding, And Retention Of Skilled And Unskilled Labor Across Departments.
Ensure Compliance With Labor Laws, Occupational Health And Safety Standards, And Mining Regulations
Manage Industrial Relations, Including Union Engagement, Grievance Handling, And Disciplinary Procedures.
Coordinate Payroll Administration, Leave Management, And Statutory Reporting.
Lead Performance Management Systems And Employee Development Initiatives.
Maintain Accurate Hr Records, Contracts, And Personnel Files.
Plan And Manage Workforce Logistics, Including Accommodation, Transport, And Welfare For Site-Based Staff.
Facilitate Training Programs Focused On Safety, Compliance, And Operational Excellence.
Advise Management On Hr Risks, Trends, And Strategic Workforce Planning.
Promote a Culture Of Accountability, Safety, And Continuous Improvement Across The Mine Site.

Qualifications And Experience
Bachelor’s Degree In Human Resources Management, Industrial Psychology, Or Related Field
Professional Certification (e.g., Ipmz) Or Postgraduate Qualification Is An Added Advantage.
Minimum Of 5 Years’ Experience In a Senior Hr Role, Preferably In Mining, Construction, Or Heavy Industry.
Strong Knowledge Of Zimbabwean Labor Laws, Nec Mining Regulations, And Statutory Compliance Frameworks.
Proven Experience Managing Large, Remote, And Multi-Disciplinary Teams.
Excellent Communication, Negotiation, And Conflict Resolution Skills.
Proficiency In Hris Systems And Microsoft Office Suite.
Ability To Work In Rugged Environments And Adapt To Operational Demands.
