Our Client Is Seeking a Dynamic And Experienced Human Resources Manager To Lead Their Hr Function At The Tobacco Auction Floor. The Ideal Candidate Will Be Responsible For Developing And Implementing Hr Strategies That Support Business Objectives, Ensure Compliance With Labor Laws, And Foster a Productive And Inclusive Workplace. This Role Requires Strong Leadership, Excellent Interpersonal Skills, And a Deep Understanding Of Hr Best Practices In High-Volume, Seasonal Operations.

Duties And Responsibilities
Develop And Execute Hr Strategies Aligned With Organizational Goals And Operational Needs.
Oversee Recruitment, Onboarding, And Retention Of Staff Across All Departments.
Manage Performance Appraisal Systems And Employee Development Programs.
Ensure Compliance With Zimbabwean Labor Laws, Health And Safety Regulations, And Industry Standards.
Handle Employee Relations, Conflict Resolution, And Disciplinary Procedures Professionally And Fairly.
Maintain Accurate Hr Records, Contracts, And Payroll Documentation.
Lead Workforce Planning And Manage Seasonal Labor Requirements For Auction Periods.
Implement Policies That Promote Diversity, Equity, And Inclusion.
Coordinate Training Programs To Enhance Employee Skills And Productivity.
Advise Management On Hr Trends, Risks, And Strategic Workforce Decisions.
Liaise With External Stakeholders Including Labor Unions, Government Agencies, And Training Institutions.

Qualifications And Experience
Bachelor’s Degree In Human Resources Management, Industrial Psychology, Or Related Field.
Postgraduate Qualification Or Professional Certification (e.g., IPMZ) Is An Added Advantage.
Minimum Of 5 Years’ Experience In a Senior Hr Role, Preferably In Agriculture, Manufacturing, Or Trading Sectors.
Strong Knowledge Of Zimbabwean Labor Laws And Hr Compliance Frameworks.
Proven Experience Managing Large And Diverse Teams, Including Seasonal Or Contract Workers.
Excellent Communication, Negotiation, And Conflict Resolution Skills.
Proficiency In HRIS Systems And Microsoft Office Suite.
Ability To Work Under Pressure And Adapt To Fast-Paced Operational Environments.
