Our Client In The Medical Field Is Looking For A Qualified Theatre Nurse To Join Their Team. The Theatre Nurse Will Play A Critical Role In Supporting Surgical Procedures By Ensuring The Operating Theatre Is Prepared, Sterile, And Safe. This Role Involves Direct Patient Care Before, During, And After Surgery, Working Closely With Surgeons, Anesthetists, And Other Healthcare Professionals To Deliver High-Quality Outcomes. Incumbent Should Be Proficient In Administering Medications And Treatments To Ensure Patient Safety And Compliance With Care Standards. Ideal Candidate Should Have Expertise Operating Medical Equipment And Machinery. This Role Is For Someone With At Least Three Years Experience In The Same Position.
Duties Include:
· Prepare Operating Theatres And Surgical Instruments In Accordance With Infection Control Protocols
· Assist In Positioning And Preparing Patients For Surgery
· Monitor Patients’ Vital Signs And Comfort During Procedures
· Maintain Accurate Documentation Of Surgical Procedures And Patient Care
· Ensure All Equipment Is Functioning And Troubleshoot Any Issues Promptly
· Adhere To Safety Standards And Emergency Procedures
· Support Post-Operative Recovery And Handover To Recovery Teams
· Collaborate With Multidisciplinary Teams To Ensure Seamless Patient Care
· Participate In Audits, Training, And Continuous Professional Development
