We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Representative to join our client in the gas reticulation sector. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building client relationships, and promoting their gas distribution and installation services. This role requires strong technical understanding of gas systems, excellent communication skills, and a passion for delivering customer-focused solutions.
Duties and Responsibilities
Identify and pursue new sales opportunities within residential, commercial, and industrial sectors.
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, contractors, and developers.
Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals.
Provide accurate quotations and assist clients in selecting appropriate gas solutions.
Follow up on leads, inquiries, and customer feedback to close sales effectively.
Collaborate with technical teams to ensure feasibility and alignment of proposed solutions.
Maintain detailed records of sales activities, client interactions, and pipeline progress.
Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.
Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and competitor offerings.
Conduct site visits to assess client needs and provide tailored recommendations.
Experience and Qualifications
Minimum of a diploma or degree in Sales, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field.
2–5 years of proven sales experience, preferably in gas reticulation, utilities, or construction.
Strong technical understanding of gas distribution systems and installation processes.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel for client meetings and site visits.
Knowledge of local gas safety regulations and standards is an added advantage.
