The Successful Candidate Will Be Responsible For Financial Planning, Budget Approvals, And Analysis Of Financial Activities, Providing Strategic Insights To Senior Management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare And Interpret Financial Reports, Offering Actionable Recommendations To Managerial Staff.
- Provide Direct Supervision And Oversight For Accounts Payable And Receivable Teams.
- Lead Budget Preparation, Ensuring Alignment With Corporate Objectives.
- Analyze Costs, Pricing Structures, Revenue Trends, And Overall Company Performance Against Business Plans.
- Conduct Financial Evaluations To Identify Cost-Saving Opportunities.
- Oversee Financial Accounting, Monitoring, And Reporting Systems To Enhance Efficiency.
- Manage Day-To-Day Financial Transactions, Including Invoicing, Payroll Processing, And Compliance.
- Ensure Adherence To Accounting Policies And Regulatory Requirements Within The Insurance Industry.
- Establish Key Performance Benchmarks To Measure Organizational Success And Implement Frameworks For Improvement.
- Coordinate The Preparation Of Financial Statements For Inclusion In The Corporate Annual Report.
- Ensure Compliance With Iso 27001 Standards Regarding Data And Information Management Within Insurance Operations.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor's Degree In Finance Or Accounting.
- Minimum Of 8 Years Experience In Accounting Or Financial Analysis Within The Insurance Industry.
- A Recently Qualified Chartered Accountant (Icaz) Is Required.
- Proven Ability To Lead And Guide Teams In Implementing Effective Financial Processes.
- Expertise In Financial Reporting, Data Evaluation, And Presentation To Senior Leadership.
- Proficiency In Excel, Powerpoint, And Financial Reporting Tools.
- Strong Interpersonal, Communication, And Presentation Skills To Influence Key Stakeholders.
