Our client in the mining sector is looking to hire a Human Resources Coordinator. The Human Resources Coordinator shall be responsible for strategically supporting the HR Executive through translating HR strategy into actionable plans and providing operational and administrative support.
Duties and responsibilities
Assist the Group HR Director in gathering information for strategic HR initiatives by conducting research and compiling data.
Researching HR trends, best practices, and industry benchmarks to inform HR decisions and initiatives.
Managing key HR projects assigned by the Director, ensuring they stay on track, within budget, and meet strategic goals.
Prepare presentations and reports for the Director on HR-related topics.
Overseeing specific HR programs like recruitment, onboarding, performance management, or employee relations.
Oversee specific HR programs assigned by the Director.
Acting as a point of contact between the Group HR Director and the broader HR team.
Assisting the Director in managing the HR department's budget, including developing budgets, tracking expenses, and identifying cost-saving opportunities.
Scheduling meetings, managing the Director's travel arrangements, and handling administrative tasks to free up their time for strategic work.
Preparing presentations, reports, and communication materials for the Director and other stakeholders.
Manage the Director's communications and act as a gatekeeper for their time, screening calls and emails.
Preparing briefing materials and presentations for board and executive meetings on HR-related topics.
Experience and Qualifications
Must have a University degree in Business Administration, Human Resources or Psychology
At least 5 years HR operational experience.
Working experience within the same industry will be a distinct advantage
