Our Client In The Manufacturing Industry Is Looking To Engage A Miller. The Miller Will Run a Shift Where He Will Be Responsible For Efficient Daily Milling Activities To Ensure Operations Are Optimized. Activities Include Adjusting And Setting Of The Milling Machine For Optimum Performance, Ensuring Correct Methods Of Wheat Segregation And Storage, Ensuring Correct Wheat Gristing, Planning And Executing Proactive And Reactive Milling Maintenance, Troubleshooting Milling Issues, Producing Good Quality Products, Assisting In Mentoring Trainee Millers, Ensuring Good Manufacturing Practice Execution In Line With The Company’s Food Safety Policy, And Performing Periodic Quality Checks. He/She Receives Directives From And Reports Directly To The Site Manager.

Key Responsibilities Include:
1)Personally Demonstrate A Commitment To Food And Human Safety
2)Responsible For Efficient Coordination Of Daily Milling Activities And Assigns Daily Work To Available Mill Crew.
3)Participates In Daily Shift Change Meetings And Assembles/Disseminates Communication To The Appropriate Departments As Needed.
4)Daily Monitoring And Follow-Up For Milling Efficiencies And Product Quality For Each Shift And Completes The Production Logs Accurately.
5)Manages Milling Equipment Spare Parts Inventory For Repair Days And Maintains Control.
6)Utilizes Unique Milling Skills To Troubleshoot/Perform Adjustments As Needed.
7)Updates And Maintains An Accurate Mill Repair Schedule.
8)Oversees All The Production Activities When On Shift.
9)Identify Complex Problems And Review Related Information To Develop And Evaluate Options And Implement Solutions.

Qualifications:
1)Passes In 2 ‘A’ Level Science Subjects. Or Certificate In Milling Operations And Trade Tested.
2)Minimum Of 2 Years Of Working Experience As a Shift Miller.
3)Proficient Knowledge Of Milling Procedures.
4)Excellent Problem-Solving Skills And Leadership Qualities.
