Our client in the manufacturing industry is seeking for an Instore Sales Representative to join their Bulawayo branch. The incumbent shall report to the immediate supervisor, sales manager and the national sales executive.
Duties and Responsibilities
1.1Liaison between store and Sales Representative.
1.2Checking if all material is in a presentable state.
1.3Assisting stores with ordering stock.
1.4Ensures instore point of sale material are in working order and repair or replace where necessary.
1.5Restocks point of sale material.
1.6Ensures tins and labels are presentable at sales outlets.
1.7Checks that color cards are displayed in an advantageous position and are in a good order.
1.8Attends to customer merchandising complaints.
1.9Cleans shelf space.
1.10Assists with product launches and installing promotional point of sale material in participating outlets.
1.11Receives and communicates customer issues and complaints to relevant authorities.
1.12Maintains stocks of color cards, fan decks and training manuals and re-orders when stocks are low.
1.13Liaises on repairs and installation of merchandising equipment.
1.14Send daily sales on group chat.
1.15Assist customers with product and color choice.
1.16 Monitors the competition.
QUALIFICATIONS
5 ‘O’ Levels including Mathematics and English.
At least a qualification in Sales/Marketing or relevant.
Paint Training certificate is an added advantage.
EXPERIENCE
Good interpersonal and communication skills.
Knowledge of paints is a must.
Outstanding negotiation skills with ability to resolve issues and address complaints.
Excellent knowledge of English, Shona and/or Ndebele.
