Assistant Management Accountant

Our client in the Retail Industry is looking to hire an Assistant Management Accountant. Incumbent must have strong analytical skills and the ability to extract meaningful insights in financial performance and operational results. Applicants must hold a Bachelor Degree in Accounting/Finance and should have prior costing and / or stock control experience. An ACCA/CIMA qualification will be an added advantage.

Job description-include, but not limited to:
1. Effectively handle all store queries with regards to stock control and external procurements
2. Distribute the monthly lost sales register in a timely manner.
3. To assist the Management Accountant in operating and improving internal controls within the
stock control and procurement functions
4. To undertake monthly reviews of all purchase orders raised to ensure that only required.
5. purchase orders are still outstanding, and that any old or unnecessary purchase orders are
cancelled.
6. Carry out any other duties as may reasonably be requested by the Management Accountant.
