*Client Overview*
Our client is a coffee shop known for fresh pastries, coffee, and friendly service. They are expanding their front-of-house team and looking for energetic people to join their customer-facing staff.
*Role Purpose*
As a Front End Sales Associate, you’ll be the first point of contact for customers. Your main goal is to deliver fast, friendly service while keeping the café running smoothly during busy periods.
*Key Responsibilities*
- Greet all customers warmly and provide excellent service
- Take customer orders in-person and over the phone
- Operate POS/till: handle sales, returns, and cash/card payments
- Maintain café cleanliness: bus tables, wipe counters, clean display cases
- Restock and merchandise: refill pastry trays, coffee supplies, and ingredient bins
- Carry food, drinks, and cake orders to customer tables
- Learn full coffee shop menu: coffee, bakery items, cakes, and catering options
- Opportunity to train as a Barista for team members who show initiative
- Follow all food safety, hygiene, and company policies
- Assist with loss prevention and opening/closing duties as required
*Candidate Requirements*
- Minimum 5 O Levels including English and Maths
- Clear communication, legible handwriting, basic math skills
- Physically able to stand 6–8 hours per shift and lift trays/cakes
- Shift flexibility
- Must work weekends and public holidays — peak business periods
- Professional appearance, positive attitude, strong team player
