Our Client In the Tobacco/ Agri Sector Is Looking For Some Seasonal Cashiers. The Seasonal Cashiers Shall Provide Essential Front-Line Financial Support During The Peak Tobacco Marketing Season. They Shall Be Responsible For Processing High-Volume Transactions, Balancing Daily Sales Ledgers, And Ensuring Exceptional Customer Service To Growers, Transporters, And Stakeholders Within The Agricultural Value Chain. The Successful Candidates Will Maintain Precision And Integrity While Operating In A Fast-paced Agri-Business Environment.
Duties And Responsibilities
Process Cash, Credit, And Electronic Payments for Agricultural Inputs and Marketing Services.
Reconcile Daily Sales Reports with physical Cash Counts and Digital Transaction Records.
Issue Accurate Invoices, Receipts, and Statement Summaries to Tobacco Growers.
Verify Grower Documentation and Identification to ensure compliance with Regulatory Standards.
Address Customer Inquiries regarding Payment Status, Deductions, and Account Balances.
Maintain A Clean And Organized Point Of Sale Station in accordance with Safety Protocols.
Report Discrepancies or Suspected Fraud immediately to the Finance Supervisor.
Assist With General Administrative Tasks during off-peak hours of the Selling Season.
Qualifications And Experience
Minimum Of A Diploma In Accounting, Finance, Or Business Administration.
Proven Experience As A Cashier or in a similar Retail Or Banking Role.
Proficiency In Point Of Sale (POS) Software and Microsoft Excel.
Strong Numerical Skills and Attention To Detail.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills for diverse Client Interactions.
Ability To Work Extended Hours and Weekends during the Peak Harvest Period.
High Level Of Integrity and Trustworthiness when handling Large Cash Volumes.
Knowledge Of Tobacco Industry Operations or Agricultural Marketing is a distinct Advantage.
