A Growing Mining Organization Operating Across Gold And Copper Sites Is Seeking To Appoint A Drilling Operations Manager. This Hands-On, Field-Based Role Offers The Opportunity To Oversee Daily Drilling Activities, Drive Operational Performance, Ensure Safety Compliance, And Lead Teams Toward Achieving Production Targets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and manage daily drilling operations and field activities.
- Ensure drilling targets and schedules are achieved efficiently and on time.
- Lead and coordinate drilling crews, supervisors, and operators to maximize productivity.
- Monitor equipment performance, troubleshoot issues, and minimize downtime.
- Enforce strict safety, health, and environmental (HSE) standards on site.
- Track and analyze operational KPIs including productivity, utilization, and downtime.
- Prepare and deliver regular operational reports and updates to management.
- Support the Drilling Manager in executing strategic drilling plans.
Qualifications & Experience:
-10–13 years of experience in mining drilling operations (gold/copper preferred).
- Proven track record in supervisory or operational leadership roles.
- Strong hands-on knowledge of drilling techniques, equipment, and field practices.
- Solid understanding of HSE standards and compliance in mining environments.
- Ability to manage and motivate teams in remote site conditions.
-Valid driver’s licence and willingness to work in field-based environments.
