Our Client, A Health Services Provider, Is Seeking a Highly Experienced And Dynamic Senior Pharmacist To Oversee And Manage Pharmacy Operations Across Multiple Branches In Zimbabwe, Including Gweru, Masvingo, Bulawayo, And Harare. This Is a Senior Leadership Role That Requires Strategic Oversight, Operational Excellence, And Active Participation At The Management And Board Level. The Senior Pharmacist Will Ensure Compliance With Pharmaceutical Regulations, Manage Stock Across Branches, And Drive Operational Efficiency While Representing The Pharmacy Group In Board Meetings.
Duties And Responsibilities
Provide Strategic Leadership And Oversight Of Pharmacy Operations Across Gweru, Masvingo, Bulawayo, And Harare Branches.
Sit In Board Meetings, Present Reports, And Contribute To Strategic Decision-Making At Management Level.
Ensure Compliance With All Regulatory And Statutory Requirements Set By Pharmaceutical And Healthcare Authorities.
Oversee Stock Management, Including Procurement, Distribution, And Inventory Control Across Multiple Branches.
Implement And Monitor Pharmaceutical Systems To Ensure Efficiency, Accuracy, And Compliance.
Lead And Mentor Pharmacy Managers And Staff, Fostering a Culture Of Professionalism And Continuous Improvement.
Develop And Enforce Operational Policies And Procedures To Maintain High Standards Of Service Delivery.
Monitor Branch Performance, Identify Operational Challenges, And Implement Corrective Measures.
Act As The Key Liaison With Regulatory Bodies, Ensuring Adherence To Industry Standards And Best Practices.
Prepare And Present Operational And Compliance Reports To The Board.
Experience And Qualifications
Bachelor Of Pharmacy (Bpharm) Or Equivalent; Master’s Degree In Pharmacy, Business Administration, Or Related Field Is An Added Advantage.
Minimum Of 8–10 Years Of Progressive Experience In Pharmacy Operations, With At Least 5 Years In a Senior Management Role.
Proven Experience Overseeing Multiple Pharmacy Branches Or Large-Scale Pharmaceutical Operations.
Strong Knowledge Of Pharmaceutical Systems, Compliance Frameworks, And Regulatory Requirements In Zimbabwe.
Demonstrated Expertise In Stock Management And Supply Chain Processes.
Excellent Leadership, Communication, And Presentation Skills.
Ability To Work Effectively At Board Level And Contribute To Strategic Organizational Growth.
Strong Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills With a Focus On Operational Efficiency.
