Assistant Audit Manager

Our Client Is Seeking To Appoint A Highly Experienced And Results-Oriented Assistant Audit Manager With A Strong Background In Accounting And Financial Controls. The Ideal Candidate Will Possess Over 10 Years Of Internal Audit Experience, Hold Professional Certifications Such As CIA And CISA, And Have An MBA Alongside A Bachelor's Degree In Accounting. This Role Requires A Strategic Thinker With A Deep Understanding Of Financial Reporting, Risk Management, And Regulatory Compliance. The Successful Candidate Will Play A Key Role In Strengthening Internal Controls, Enhancing Operational Efficiency, And Supporting The Organization’s Governance Objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead And Execute Financial And Operational Audit Engagements.
Develop Risk-Based Audit Plans And Ensure Timely Delivery Of Audit Projects.
Review Financial Statements, Accounting Processes, And Internal Controls.
Evaluate Compliance With IFRS, Tax Regulations, And Company Policies.
Supervise And Mentor Junior Auditors, Assigning Tasks And Reviewing Work.
Prepare Audit Reports With Clear Findings, Recommendations, And Action Plans.
Collaborate With Finance, Risk, And Compliance Teams To Address Audit Issues.
Monitor Implementation Of Audit Recommendations And Track Remediation Progress.
Provide Advisory Support On Financial Controls, Risk Mitigation, And Best Practices.
Ensure Adherence To Internal Audit Standards And Professional Ethics.

Qualifications & Experience:

Bachelor’s Degree In Accounting Or Finance.
MBA Or Master’s In A Related Field Is Strongly Preferred.
Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) And Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) Required.
Minimum Of 10 Years’ Experience In Internal Auditing, With A Strong Focus On Financial Controls.
Proven Track Record In Managing Complex Audit Engagements And Leading Audit Teams.
Strong Knowledge Of Accounting Standards, Risk Management Frameworks, And Regulatory Requirements.
Proficiency In Audit Software, ERP Systems, And Microsoft Office Suite.
