Inventory Cost Accountant

Our Client In The FMCG Industry Is Looking To Engage A Driven And Solution-Oriented Inventory Cost Accountant To Join One Of Our Strategic Business Units.

Key Purpose:
Managing Of Multiple Brands/ Portfolios With Inventory Functions For a Business Unit Ensuring Achievement Of Quantity And Quality Objectives To Contribute To The Overall Achievement Of The SBUs Strategic Objectives.

Key Outputs And Accountabilities:
Develops And Manages The Performance Of Subordinates In Achievement Of Agreed Strategy, Business Plans And Budgets.
Manages Inventory Objectives In Line With Strategic Objectives.
Develop And Implement System For Feedback And Corrective Action On All Systems
Manages Financial Controls Relating To Inventory System, Data Capturing, Cost Calculations, Sales Pricing, Promotional Pricing, Stock Taking, Reconciliations And Reporting On Inventory Movements And Valuations.

Strong Proven Ability In Leadership And Management Of Teams
Must Have Proven Multiskilling And Analytical Ability.
Must Be Able To Deliver Results Against Key Targets.
Must Bear Exceptional Communication Skills At All Levels And Able To Work Under Pressure.
Must Have Experience In Handling Large Portfolios And Product Ranges
Proficient Computer Skills And Excel Knowledge.
Proficient Sage Evolution Knowledge, Must Have Used This Accounting Package And Understand The Fundamentals Of The Inventory Processes.

Qualifications And Experience:
Minimum Requirement:
3-5 Years’ Experience In a FMCG Environment.
Strong Proven Ability In Leadership And Management In Leading And Motivating Teams.
