Our Client Is Looking To Hire an Experienced and Competent Head Office Retail Accountant. Head Office Experience Is A Must. Incumbent Must Have Experience With Branch Accounts.
Duties & Responsibilities;
•Evaluating Daily Accounting Activities And Finding Cost-Saving Methods
•Making Journal Entries In The Ledger For Accounts Debited And Credited
•Tallying Cash In Hand At The End Of The Day’s Shift And Planning For Bank Cash Deposit
•Preparing Balance Sheet And Income And Loss Statement At The End Of Month
•Preparing Financial Statements And Informing Management About The Company’s Financial Status
•Handling Preparation And Filing Of Tax Returns And Compliance Issues
•Compile, Analyze, And Present Reports On Financial Information
•Make Entries Of Daily Business Transactions In The Book Of Accounts
•Manage Accounts Payable As Per Contract Terms With Vendors And Suppliers
•Monitor And Ensure The Company Does Not Go Off The Track From Compliance
•Contribute To Fixing Budget For Monthly Purchase And Office Expenses
Job Requirements:
•A Degree in Accounting or Banking and Finance
•Minimum of 2-3 years of demonstrable experience in Accounting
•Math/Numerical Skills
•Analytical Approach
•Organizational Skills
•Computer Knowledge: Microsoft Excel, Retail Man, and any other accounting software.
•Good communication skills
•Detail Oriented
