Our Client In The FMCG Industry Is Seeking To Employ A Stock Controller. The Incumbent Shall Be Responsible For Tracking Stock Levels And Ensuring That The Supplies Meet The Demands Of The Customers. Their Primary Duties Include Checking Stock Levels, Ordering Additional Stock And Updating Stock Records.

Duties and Responsibilities
Checking stock levels regularly
Completing the required paperwork when ordering stock
Updating stock information on the computer system
Comparing items received against items ordered 
Implementing or improving processes and procedures 
Compiling daily reports and addressing inventory discrepancies
Maintaining records of pricing, purchases and other relevant information
Performing random checks and audits
Qualifications and Experience
Proven work experience as a Stock Controller, Inventory Manager or similar role
A minimum of 2 years working experience in a similar role
Proficiency in Microsoft Packages
Good understanding of supply chain procedures
Active participation in inventory audits
Excellent organization skills
Good communication and negotiation abilities
BSc in Supply Chain and Logistics, Business Administration or relevant field
