Our client looking for a driven Accountant with a basic understanding of financial principles. The candidate should be a motivated team player who can maintain efficiency and accuracy when multitasking. The candidate must have Knowledge of costing and cost control experience.
Duties and Responsibilities
Preparation of flash accounts
Calculation of VAT returns
Stock take
Understanding of debtors and creditors ledger accounts
Preparation on TB, statement of comprehensive income, balance sheet and cash flow accounts
Determine tax savings and recommend strategies to improve profits.
Ensures compliance with regulations by forwarding required information to relevant authorities.
Offer support and guidance during audits.
Evaluate tax regulations and suggest policies that diminish tax burden.
Assess and research difficult accounting issues to identify solutions.
Qualifications
Candidate must have a minimum of a bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or equivalent
At least 3 years' experience within the accounting field
Good understanding of MS Office and accounting software.
In-depth knowledge of accounting and bookkeeping processes.
Strong attention to detail with excellent analytical skills.
Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
Excellent knowledge of accounting regulations
