Our Client a Leading Financial Services Provider is on the Market for a Chief Actuary who will provide Actuarial Advice and guidance to their Business and actively Contribute to the Development and Execution of the Company’s Strategy and Business plans. The Incumbent will be Responsible for the Capital Requirements Modelling under the Solvency Framework, Risk Management, and the Pricing Process.

Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in BCom in Insurance or Reinsurance & Risk Management, Business Management or equivalent.
• Master Business Management, Master in Business Leadership or equivalent
• Fellow with relevant/recognized Actuarial body.
• Professional qualification/membership with acclaimed institution/s

Responsibilities
• Leads The Performance Of Actuarial Valuation Of Liabilities, Calculation Of Reserves, Capital Adequacy Requirements, Asset-Liability Matching, Surplus Evaluation, Projections, Cash Flow Analysis, And Other Financial Analysis And Reporting For Financial Statements And Forecasts
• Leads Advice On Product Development And Pricing, Monitors Product Profitability and Offers Proactive And Corrective Advice.
• Liaises And Collaborates With Management To Ensure That The Product And Business Cases Are Translated To Customer Requirements
• Performs Business Analysis For The Purposes Of Product And Process Improvement
• Manages Actuarial Staff To Ensures Staff Development, Motivation And Assures The Business Of Team Of Reliable And Value Adding Actuarial Skills.
• Directs And Oversees The Implementation Of Annual Business Plans For Service Line To Increasing Revenue And Profitability.
• Ensures The Division/Department Complies With All Relevant Actuarial Guidelines That Support Business Processes.
• Ensures That There Are Business Synergies And Collaborations Across Departments To Create And Identify Customer And Business Insights For Transformation
