Our client in the tyre-manufacturing industry is looking for a Factory Supervisor to join their team. Ideal candidate must have a Degree or Diploma in rubber Technology or any technical degree and management exposure in running a tyre factory.
Responsibilities for this position include:
*Works closely with leadership team to measure the success of brand initiatives, in-store trends and market insights to drive growth
*Deliver products on time according to the production schedule
*Lead safety, quality and productivity actions in your own area
*Lead and manage your own team to achieve production targets
*Participate in logistic processes, optimization of material flows
*Responsible for tactical factory logistics operations at Independence, including outbound shipment schedule adherence, inbound off loading and put away, and line supply
*Accountable to deliver daily schedule adherence, logistics cost savings, customer service, and inventory accuracy at the Independence site
*Implement process improvement through operational scorecards
*Execute the product group and site level factory logistics strategy
