Our Client a Listed Entity in the FMCG Manufacturing and Distribution Sector is on the market for an Accountant. The ideal candidate will have between 3 - 5 years experience in a similar role handling Consolidated Accounts. Candidates with CA(Z), ACCA are encouraged to apply.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Managing the corporate month end accounting process
- Preparation of the monthly management reports
- Preparation of the consolidated financial statements
- Preparation of the financial statements and commentary
- Consolidation of the budget for the management reporting pack
- Preparation of the Board reporting pack
- Managing the monthly variance analysis and providing commentary on the financial performance
- Liaising with the external Auditors
- Preparation and lodgement of monthly corporate taxes
- Supervising junior accounting staff
