Our Client In Agribusiness is Looking To Hire A General Manager For Their Seed Production Section. The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Degree in Agronomy, Seed Production Or Equivalent And Minimum Of 5 years Experience In A Similar Position. The Incumbent Should Have Good Knowledge Of Seed Production, Excellent Communication Skills, Demonstrated Analytical & Problem-Solving Capabilities, A Valid Passport & Clean Class 4 Drivers License.
RESPONSIBILITIES
*Recruiting and management of commercial and small-scale growers – contract agreements and inspections
*Coordinate seed certification and permits through relevant Government departments.
*Drive new product development through Research/Crop breeding Institutions.
*Setting up and coordinating the processing plant workflows.
*Manage and maintain relationships with service providers – packaging, labelling etc., scales calibration, servicing machines
* Interacts with other companies involved in the seed value chain.
