Our client in the FMCG Manufacturing Industry is looking to hire an ICT Officer to join their team in Mutare. The position exists to maintain efficiency of the company’s ICT systems by ensuring technological services are working properly through programming and system maintenance. Ideal candidate must have a first degree in Computer Science Or Related and must have practical hands-on experience in the FMCG Industry (2-3 Years). Any post Graduate Qualification is an added advantage.
Duties and Responsibilities Include:
-Manages, recommends, and upgrades computer systems to ensure operational efficiency.
-Ensures adherence to agreed service level agreements as a mechanism to ensure consistency in the ICT systems.
-Implements security features to avoid any loss and misuse of the network
-Administers the server and provides first line support to users of business applications.
-Ensures remote access of user data to promote remote office work to ensure high service delivery to clients.
-Timeously responds to end user queries to ensure smooth flow of daily business process
-Examines existing systems for suitability and relevance to business needs and comes up with recommendations to improve efficiency.
-Works with other ICT staff to develop or modify systems as designed and approved.
-Takes an active role in elicitation and documentation of functional requirements for new and existing systems.
-Participates in business process mapping.
-Translates application storyboards and user cases into functional applications.
