Our client in the FMCG Manufacturing Industry is looking to hire a Finance Director to join their team. Incumbent must be a qualified Chartered Accountant with ICAZ/ ACCA/ CIMA qualifications and must have previous experiencing working in the manufacturing industry. Females are encouraged to apply.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
-Oversees the Finance & Accounting function of the Organization.
-Financial and Accounting system controls and standards used by the Organization.
-Ensures timely provision of financial and statistical reports for management.
-Ensuring that all accounting functions are accurately and effectively fulfilled.
-Working with Subsidiary heads to prepare budgets, forecasts and other financial plans.
-Working with all Subsidiary heads to ensure that their individual budgets are managed for the most effective and efficient use of financial resources.
-Liaison with the Subsidiaries to ensure that there is prudent financial management; that they maintain necessary facilities with the banks and that such facilities are competitively priced.
-Liaison with external auditors to ensure that audits are properly planned, carried out and that financial reports are prepared within set timelines.
-To collaborate and coordinate the activities of outside suppliers of financial services hired or contracted by the organization, including accountants, auditors, financial consultants etc.
-To carry out any other duties as may be assigned from time to time by the Group Finance Director.
-Ensure compliance to relevant ISO requirements in all tasks.
