They are seeking an experienced and dynamic IT Manager with a strong background in automation and Business Intelligence (BI) to join their team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the company’s IT infrastructure, implementing automation solutions, and developing BI tools to support data-driven decision-making. This role requires a strategic thinker with hands-on technical expertise and a passion for optimizing processes through technology.
**Key Responsibilities:**
1. **IT Infrastructure Management:**
- Oversee the maintenance, security, and scalability of the company’s IT systems, including hardware, software, networks, and cloud services.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations related to data security and IT operations.
- Manage IT budgets, vendor relationships, and procurement of technology solutions.
2. **Automation:**
- Identify opportunities for process automation across construction operations, project management, and administrative functions.
- Design, implement, and maintain automation tools and workflows using platforms like Power Automate, Zapier, or custom scripts.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline repetitive tasks and improve efficiency.
3. **Business Intelligence (BI):**
- Develop and maintain BI dashboards and reports using tools like Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms.
- Analyze construction project data, financial metrics, and operational KPIs to provide actionable insights to stakeholders.
- Integrate data from multiple sources (e.g., ERP systems, project management tools, IoT devices) to create a unified view of business performance.
4. **Strategic IT Planning:**
- Align IT initiatives with the company’s business goals and construction industry trends.
- Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend solutions to enhance productivity and competitiveness.
- Lead digital transformation projects to modernize the company’s technology stack.
5. **Team Leadership and Support:**
- Manage and mentor a team of IT professionals, providing guidance and support for their professional development.
- Act as the primary point of contact for IT-related issues, ensuring timely resolution and minimal disruption to operations.
- Conduct training sessions to improve digital literacy and adoption of new tools across the organization.
**Qualifications:**
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT management.
- Proven expertise in automation tools (e.g., Power Automate, UiPath, Python scripting) and BI platforms (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
- Strong understanding of construction-specific software (e.g., Procore, Buildertrend, or similar) and ERP systems.
- Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS) and data integration techniques.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
**Preferred Skills:**
- Knowledge of IoT and its applications in construction (e.g., equipment tracking, site monitoring) beneficial but not mandatory
- Familiarity with AI/ML concepts and their potential use cases in construction.
- Project management certification (e.g., PMP, Agile) is a plus.
